Social Work and the NDIS
Social workers play a crucial role within the National Disability Insurance Scheme. At LMSW, you can access Social Work supports to enhance your daily living skills, build capacity and give you choice and control in identifying the supports you need across your plan.

What Social Workers do
NDIS Social Workers provide professional support to participants and their families to ensure that people living with disability are receiving the reasonable and necessary supports they need to build capacity, and improve their daily living activities. Social Workers have key responsibilities within the NDIS, including Assessment and Planning, Coordination of Supports, Advocacy, Crisis Intervention, and Capacity Building.
